Dr Bob,

Just a short post on your continued development of the LACA website.

The new section on "Expanded History" is a great read and I for one would like to thank you and congratulate you on a job well done. I have been following the history and development of the Lefever shotgun for some time now and these new pics and info are a revelation to their continued development and design throughout their history. I especially liked the pics on the early development of the in frame ejectors.

Thank you and keep up the great job on the Website.

Lefty/Lefever/Guy Wink

I agree with Lefty. Dr. Bob's article is a great addition to the website. Lefty, Dr. Bob also puts out a great newsletter to all LACA members. Have you signed up for it? If not, it's the best $35 that a Lefever enthusiast could spend.

I had to print it to read it, but it is worth using a few pages of paper. Very nice history on the gun making activities of D. M. Lefever!

Also note the "News" posting about the display coming up in a few weeks at the Vegas show. I know some of the guns that will be there, and I doubt there has ever been an equivalent display of Lefever guns. See you there!

Thanks to Terry's help we are going to have a show in Las Vegas that may be the best display of Lefevers ever collected in one place. Check out the website for a list of participants.

We plan to have examples of every cocking mechanism used by Lefever. There will be examples of high grade guns from the Nichols and Lefever era through the DML Crossbolts. We will have Optimus guns from at least three production periods.

Las Vegas is hurting for tourists and there are great travel packages avilable through the internet sites. I would urge anybody interested in Lefevers and their history to pay us a visit. It will be well worth the time.
