My 20ga H grade Lefever (serial# 712xx) has this trigger plate:

The last number is a little out of focus but it is '87. Due to the high serial number and the "P" marked on the barrel forend lug, I am sure this is an Ithaca assembled gun dating from 1916 or later. Normally (if there is such a thing with these guns) I would expect to see a trigger plate like the one that is on my DS serial# 600xx:

The last date here is 1907. Should I just put this down as another example of Ithaca using up the old parts from the Syracuse factory after they acquired Lefever Arms Company?
