What would it take for us to modified the site so we can host the photos? I'm guessing when the site was set up the memory limit was quite small and the cost for memory was out of the question. This has changed significantly. I am not capable myself but have friends that are. Is anyone in the group up to speed on any options for us to set up the site to keep our own photos?

Unfortunately this site will not be able to host photos. When I started The Lefever Forum I looked for a free host to act as its home and Informe.com fit the bill. The trade-off is reduced functionality in what we can do with this site. It's basically a "template" that I plugged the web contents into.

TLF was - and is - a labor of love, but as it currently is set up does not have the storage capacity nor the bandwidth to store photos locally on its host server. So, unless someone would like to step up and spend the money on a dedicated server or paid hosting space, we'll continue to need to find other means of putting up photos here (i.e., other photo hosting sites.)

Best double-gun regards,
ADG

Marc, I would certainly not be averse to someone taking on the responsibility for the contents of this website on a different host or dedicated server. As far as I'm concerned this site belongs to all the members of the LACA. I'm finding less and less personal time to administer the site. Just weeding out spambots takes a considerable daily effort. Let me know if this is something you'd be interested in. We can talk with BirDogEd (the other Admin of TLF) and see what can be done.

My friend build 2 websites for me to sell my products and for him it is very easy. If I was capable myself I would try to take on the task, however I know I am not, at least at this time.
